From the maker

He came for the rings. The owner wanted them back.

Tobin Sallow robbed his last grave on a moonless night, hammer in one hand to crack the seal and a sack in the other for whatever the dead were wearing. He got the sack full. He did not get away. Look down past his torn hem and you will find a bony hand closed around his ankle, reaching up out of the cracked headstone he was standing on. Now he haunts the plot he plundered, still hunched, still clutching the loot, still trying to run.

A Story Told at Ankle Height: The hand is the detail that sells this sculpt, and it is easy to miss until you turn him around. Pick it out in bone and the headstone in cold grey stone, and suddenly the whole figure reads as a trap sprung rather than a ghost floating. The sack is a soft, lumpy mass that takes a glaze beautifully, and the hammer head is the one hard, square edge on the model. His smock tears into long ragged strips at the back, which is the place to push a spectral edge highlight.
