From the maker
Nobody grapples Ser Brannoch Kell twice.
He carries no shield, because the armour does that job and then some. Spikes jut from his pauldrons, his vambraces, his knees and the backs of his greaves, so anything that closes in to wrestle him pays for it. The longsword hangs loose in one hand and the other stays empty. He wins most fights by walking forward and letting the other man decide how badly he wants to stop him.
A Harness Built For Metallics: The chevron breastplate, the layered tassets and the closed great helm are broad, clean planes, which is exactly what a metallic drybrush and a dark wash want. Pick out the spikes in a brighter steel or a bone colour and the silhouette sharpens instantly. The plume is the one soft surface on the model and the obvious place for a spot colour, and the chains hanging from his belt take a wash beautifully.
