The howl is the warning. By the time you hear the second one, it is already moving.

This is the curse at full strength: a lean, roped wolf frame standing tall on a spur of broken rock, muzzle pointed at the moon and arms thrown wide like it is daring the sky to answer. The villagers call him Old Harrow’s Boy, because that is who he was until the third full moon. Nobody calls him that to his face anymore. He hunts the ridge above the village and comes down only when something below him starts to run.

A Sculpt Built for Drybrushing: Abyssal Sculpting gave the torso deep, separated muscle, so a dark basecoat and two drybrush passes do most of the work for you. The mane is a thick, textured collar that contrasts nicely with the smoother skin of the chest and arms, and the rock under his feet gives you a second texture to pick out with a cooler grey.
