Something this old does not need to howl. It just waits for you to notice how big it is.

Every curse starts somewhere, and in this village it started with him. The Ancient has stopped bothering to look human. He moves bent nearly double, long arms hanging past his knees, claws trailing in the dirt, with a heavy mane that has gone ragged at the shoulders. One brow is split by an old scar that never healed right. Whatever left it is not around to talk about it.

A Centerpiece on a 50mm Base: He stands on a 50mm scenic base, so he takes up the footprint of a Large creature and dwarfs the rest of the pack. The fur is cut in long, directional strands that reward a careful wash and a light edge highlight, and the bare, lean forearms give you a smooth surface to separate from the coat. Paint the claws last; they are long enough to pick out cleanly.
