From the maker
Mouth open, hammer up. The war cry comes first and the hammer arrives about a second later.
Grimmald Stormhowe fights stripped to the waist under a fur trimmed cape, because armour slows the first swing and the first swing is the one that counts. His bracers are spiked, his belt is as wide as a man’s hand, and his hair has never met a comb. He is the reason the tavern has a rule about weapons at the door, and the reason nobody enforces it.
A Study In Skin And Fur: With most of the torso bare, this is a model about skin tone, and the musculature is cut deep enough that a single wash and two highlights get you most of the way there. The fur trim on the cape and bracers is rough textured for a quick drybrush, and the inside of the cape is a big flat panel where a strong colour or a simple pattern will frame the whole figure.
