The rank and file of every vampire’s army. These skeletons came out of the ground with whatever was buried with them: plank shields split down the boards, short swords held high, spiked maces raised for the first swing. A belt and a rag of loincloth is all the uniform they get, and it is all they need.

Bone, Wood and Rust: Open ribcages and long limbs take a contrast paint beautifully, and the wooden shields give a second, warmer texture so the unit does not read as one flat color. The sculpts mix raised arms and guarded stances, which breaks up the front rank nicely.

On the Battlefield: Bulk out the battle line. Two or three sets make a proper horde, and the Skeleton Invocation markers let the unit claw back its losses. Add the Skeleton Spearmen for a second rank with reach.

At the Table: The classic dungeon skeleton, ten at a time. Every DM needs a box of these.

Building a bigger unit? Each set is 10 models, one of each sculpt. Set the quantity to 2 for a 20 model regiment, or 4 for a horde. Kings of War unit bases line up the same way: two Troop bases make a Regiment footprint.
