MUSTER ROLL: THE VAMPIRE KNIGHTS. Nobility. They will not let you forget it.

Where the Barrow Knights are a king’s dead retainers, these are the blood itself: vampire lords who never gave up the lance. Five riders in full plate and bat-winged helms ride steeds that look stitched together from nightmares, horned and fanged under heavy barding. The banner bearer flies a bat crest high, and the lances are long enough to skewer two men at once.

Show Off the Armor: Polished plate on the riders and scaled barding on the horses give you two big metallic areas, which makes this the unit to try a dark, glossy armor recipe on. Red cloth or banner freehand pops hard against it.

On the Battlefield: The army’s shock cavalry. Point them at whatever the enemy values most and let the Barrow Knights follow up.

At the Table: A vampire count’s honor guard. Even one rider at a crossroads makes a memorable encounter for a low level party.
