MUSTER ROLL: THE DIRE PACK. Kennel master wanted. Previous applicant eaten.

Something raised the wolves of the old forest after they died, and nobody told them to lie down. Five gaunt brutes with fur hanging in ragged clumps over bare ribs and spines, jaws stretched past where any living wolf could open them. One leans over a gravestone, one stalks low, and one stands on a rock to howl the rest of the pack forward.

Fur and Bone: Every wolf mixes shaggy fur with patches of exposed skeleton, so a dark drybrush for the coat and a pale bone for the ribs and skull does most of the job. The little scenic pieces under their paws, a gravestone, a skull, a rock, are ready made basing spots.

On the Battlefield: Fast flankers that chase down archers and war machines. Five wolves fill a Kings of War troop footprint.

At the Table: The hunting pack of a vampire or werewolf lord. Their howl is the party’s warning that the real threat is close.

Building a bigger unit? Each set is 5 models, one of each sculpt. Set the quantity to 2 for a 10 model regiment. Two Kings of War Troop bases make a Regiment footprint.
