Spears stood upright like a forest of pikes, shields tucked to the hip, skulls tilted as if listening for an order that came centuries ago. These skeletons do the one thing a spear wall does best: they wait. A charge that reaches them meets a row of leaf-shaped blades at chest height.

Vertical Lines, Clean Rank: The upright spears make this unit look drilled even when the bodies are slouched and crooked, which is exactly the contrast you want on an undead army. Long shafts are a good place to practice wood grain, and the round shields carry a simple rim and boss for quick metallics.

On the Battlefield: The second rank behind the Skeleton Warriors, or a defensive block on its own to stop cavalry. Two sets give you a 20 model regiment.

At the Table: Tomb guards at a choke point. Line them across a corridor and let the party work out how to get through.

Building a bigger unit? Each set is 10 models, one of each sculpt. Set the quantity to 2 for a 20 model regiment, or 4 for a horde. Kings of War unit bases line up the same way: two Troop bases make a Regiment footprint.
