Sewn from beautiful vintage silk kimono. The soft teal colored base has a diagonal design of golden flowers, fans and strips of paper blowing gently in the breeze. This is a full, roomy jacket, I call it 'oversize.' There are angled pockets at the sides. Fully lined with silk charmeuse. Six glass buttons line the front. One size fits most.

Garment measures 56 inches bust, 58 inches hips, length at center back 33 1/2 inches. Oversize, one size fits most.

All pieces are hand made one at a time in my Portland, Oregon studio. Fabrics are vintage Japanese silks. The very special fabric used in this coat was woven, stenciled and painted by Japanese artisans and finally sewn into a kimono. I removed the hand stitching, washed and prepared the fabric and sewed it into my oversize coat design.

Each piece I make is unique, most are one of a kind. I ship USPS priority at the beginning of the week.
