The unique mechanical structure of these machines applies no tension to the yarn during knitting, allowing the cotton's natural softness to remain fully intact while the fabric is knit at higher density. The result is a heavyweight tsuriami cotton jersey with superior hand feel, density, elasticity, durability, and character compared to any fabric produced on modern machines. Knit with thick-count cotton yarn, the cloth has a substantial weight, a smooth vintage touch, and the kind of natural aging character that only improves with wear.

The silhouette draws directly from 1960s military underwear — a classic crewneck with quiet, considered detailing. The jacquard-knit ribbed vintage collar faithfully reproduces the neckline of period underwear using a specialized knitting machine, while wide ribbed cuffs add both structural presence and a refined vintage touch.
