Graceful sphere vase is handcrafted in Zinapecuaro, Michoacan, by highly-skilled artisans who use an ancient burnishing process. Smoked and baked in a woodfire oven, this vase undergoes a decorative method called the “negative imprint," where the piece is pulled from the fire mid-process, cooled, hand-painted with natural pigments and then re-smoked for contrast and depth.

This vase features beautiful nature motifs around the vase, dotted with accents and floral designs. Its rim is a powerful color with brilliant patterns. Its smooth, shiny body makes it a spectacular decorative accent, while its form and depth makes it a functional vase. A great statement piece for any place, or a meaningful housewarming gift.
