Handmade in Aguascalientes, Mexico

Handcrafted cartonería sculptures from Aguascalientes, Mexico where paper, paste, and vibrant color transform into powerful representations of the Jaguar Mexica (Aztec) warrior. Each piece features beautiful hand-painted spots, jaguar eyes and teeth integrated into the calaca structure. The Jaguar Warriors were elite members of the Mexica military, symbolizing strength, courage, and the sacred night. Their warrior spirit is captured in every hand-molded detail, with intricate line work, hand-sculpted ornament earrings, glitter eyes and feathers, lending the playfulness and reverence of calaca tradition with ancestral warrior legacy.

These aren't just art objects; they're stories of ritual and cultural memory woven into authentic Mexican artesanía. Perfect for Día de Muertos celebrations, sacred home altars, or collectors seeking meaningful pieces that honor Mesoamerican spirituality and contemporary folk art.
