About the gingham fabric: Little Dog Club and Vintage Bear Workshop are made from tightly woven 8 oz, yarn-dyed gingham cotton canvas. Unlike solid-colored canvas, gingham is woven with different colored yarns that can shrink at different rates. Combined with the fabric's dense weave, this creates uneven tension within the material. As that tension is released during sewing, some stitching lines may curve slightly rather than remain perfectly straight.
