Patched Black Cat — Handmade Bag Charm (Pre-order)

I first made this black cat back in February. If you’ve been following me on IG for a while, you may remember that version — it looked quite different from this one.

I liked the idea, but something about the first version never felt quite right, so I kept putting it aside, changing the shape and adjusting little details here and there. Somehow, it dragged on until now.

Halloween is still a while away, but handmade pieces take time, so I have to start preparing early. It felt like a good time to finally bring this black cat back.

Both the black body fabric and the small patches stitched onto it are made from plant-dyed rustic cotton. I added button eyes, visible hand stitching, and little fabric patches one by one, so each cat naturally comes out a little different.

Please Note

All of the fabric used is plant-dyed, so colors and markings can vary from batch to batch. The small patches are also individually selected and stitched by hand, which means their colors, shapes, and placement will vary.

No two black cats will look exactly the same.
