Colorful Mexican Milagros, or Tin Heart Charms, with Mirror Handmade in Oaxaca, Mexico
Milagros, which means "miracle" in Spanish, are charms that can be seen throughout Mexico as decoration, carrying cultural and/or religious significance. Milagros are typically pinned/hanged to objects of religious devotion as a sign of a promise in the hope for a miracle (known as Manda). They are also hanged in places or pinned for protection and good luck, especially of our loved people and places. Hearts Milagros are usually a symbol of love, protection, devotion, and/or to ask for hearth's health, which makes these a perfect ornament for your house or the perfect gift for a loved one!
