Flores de Teotitlán Tall Carnation Candle Handmade in Teotitlán del Valle, Oaxaca

This candle was handcrafted by artisans in Teotitlán del Valle, Oaxaca, using natural beeswax dyed in bold, rich colors. Each piece is carefully shaped around a cotton wick and adorned with hand-sculpted wax carnations formed while the wax is warm. The delicate process involves melting and layering natural wax, then shaping each flower petal by petal without molds, just skilled hands and years of tradition.

Two layers of carnation details create an elegant, mesmerizing design as if flowers bloom around the base. Used traditionally in Oaxacan celebrations and altars, these candles make striking decor for any table or shelf. The carnations retain their form and color over time, making each piece both decorative and meaningful.
