The cloth is an original 50% cotton / 50% silk yarn-dyed typewriter fabric, developed and woven in-house at Momotaro. Combining the crisp structure of a densely woven typewriter cotton with the natural luster and softness of silk, the fabric delivers a quiet refined sheen and exceptional hand feel — completely unlike anything associated with standard military overpants. The yarn-dye process gives the fabric its layered color tone and depth from the very first wear.

The silhouette is a relaxed wide-leg cargo cut from vintage military overpant patterns — generous through the top block and leg, with flap cargo pockets at the thigh finished with adjustable drawstring tape for the classic military closure. Additional details include rear flap patch pockets, belt loops, and the brand's refined finishing throughout.

Fit Notes: This model runs slightly large, and is only produced in even-numbered sizes. Compared to most global American brands, we recommend sizing down one from your usual size on smaller sizes — or staying true to size on larger sizes.
