The bandana is made from 100% cotton, silk-screen printed and dyed using a method that allows the rich pigment to soak through to the reverse side. The color is "Shinku" (真紅) — a deep, brightly dyed Japanese red historically achieved through safflower dyeing, prized for its vibrant warmth and depth.

The design is hand-illustrated by Kobashi Studio founder Junichi Kobashi, who reinterpreted a very old Japanese chrysanthemum pattern through a contemporary lens. The composition features bold white chrysanthemum blossoms in full bloom, surrounded by intricately detailed leaves and delicate berry-like buds. The flowers are rendered with clean, symmetrical petal arrangements, while the leaves are filled with fine hatching lines that add texture and depth.
