Originally marketed to motorcyclists by motorcycle manufacturers as sales promotional items, these corporate logo-emblazoned pieces were intended to make BUCO products more recognizable to a wider audience, with an eye-catching all-over print design.
Originating from the early 1900s, the bucket hat was initially used by Irish fishermen for weather protection. Its popularity grew in the 1960s with the mod fashion movement, followed by adoption in the 1980s by hip-hop culture.
