The Joe McCoy BEND LEATHER BELT is crafted from full-grain cowhide bend, inspired by vintage belts traditionally worn with denim and other workwear. It is finished with custom made nickel plated steel hardware.

“Bend” leather is the thickest and most durable part of a cowhide, taken from the back down to the rump. While this strength means it is typically used for soles in footwear, it is also the most stretch resistant, which makes it suited for use in belts. As a result of this durability and longevity, the Joe McCoy BEND LEATHER BELT will be very stiff when first worn, but will become softer with wear.

To achieve a superior finish, each belt is dyed individually after cutting and then polished by hand, lending a slight sheen.
