Momotaro’s rebrand came down to two things: a deeper indigo and cleaner lines. The #110 is the women’s version of the brand’s new Standard straight, built on the same cloth as the men’s — 14.7oz Tokuno Blue (特濃, “extra-deep”), a sanforized selvedge denim in 100% organic Zimbabwe cotton, rope-dyed to an indigo noticeably darker than the brand’s old standard. The weave is tight and the weft has been respun in finer threads, which gives the fabric a smoother face and a more polished hand without losing the texture Momotaro is known for.

The cut is a classic straight drawn for a woman’s body: a high rise with a comfortably relaxed waist, a moderate thigh and a subtle taper from the knee down — the clean, versatile line that goes with everything. The front closes with a zip fly.

The details are the quiet luxury of the new line. A lined waistband keeps indigo off a tucked-in shirt; the front pocket rivets are flush-set so they never scratch a phone, and the back pockets use hidden rivets; the buttons are extra-thick and custom engraved, the coin pocket enlarged, the pocket bags cut in heavy-duty canvas, the construction chain-stitched throughout. The patch is indigo-dyed cowhide with Momotaro branding, and the signature peach selvedge ID runs the outseam. Made in Japan.

Fit Notes: This model fits true to size — we recommend taking your usual size. Momotaro’s women’s sizes follow the waist in inches, so a 25 corresponds to a 25 in American brands. The cut is a classic straight with a high rise, a relaxed waist and a subtle taper from the knee. The denim is sanforized, so shrinkage will be minimal; with regular wear, the waistband will stretch about 0.5", allowing the fit to settle comfortably over time. We don’t recommend sizing down, as starting too tight may cause discomfort and alter the intended fit of the garment.
