Inked & Outed -- a cyberpunk-inflected original artwork that places tattoo culture and the visibility of identity inside a neon-lit, high-tech visual world. Cyberpunk as an aesthetic (originating in William Gibson's fiction and Ridley Scott's Blade Runner, 1982) has always been interested in the body as a site of modification, resistance, and identity. Inked & Outed sits in that tradition: being marked and being seen. Rendered in gallery-quality UV print on Grade-A Canadian maple. About this deck
