The story of Noah's Ark appears in Genesis 6–9: God instructs Noah to build a vessel and take two of every living creature aboard before a great flood reshapes the earth. The ark came to rest on Mount Ararat; a rainbow sealed God's covenant with creation. One of the most universally recognised stories across Judaism, Christianity and Islam — rendered here in the bold flat colour of cathedral stained-glass, every creature finding its place on the deck.
