The Fly Agaric (Amanita muscaria) has appeared in botanical illustration since the 16th century — classified, named, and drawn with the same precision given to medicinal herbs, even as its toxicity and psychoactive properties were well understood. This design takes the 18th-century scientific illustration style and puts it on a deck: the red cap with white spots, the gills, the spores — rendered with engraving-style precision against a dark background.
