From the maker

This Tetsujin Hamono Gyuto is a blade-only knife in the nominal 240mm size, with an approximately 231mm cutting edge. Its Ginsan (Silver #3) stainless-steel core is clad in softer stainless steel using San-mai construction. The Ukiba finish creates a distinctive hazy band above the cladding line.

Toru Tamura forges the blade, and Naohito Myojin grinds and sharpens it. The double-bevel, 50/50 geometry is suitable for right- or left-handed use. No handle is included, so the blade must be fitted with a compatible handle before use.
