About:Sour citrus and sugar sweetened grenadine contrast and compliment the tart and herbal cannabis leaf accord. This cannabis leaf accord is not the terpene pong of cannabis extracts, but the fresh green spiciness of the living plant. The dry down of vetiver and white musk smooths the spiciness out and accents it. A plum accord provides a dark backbone to the bright vetiver and white musk.

Inspired by Gunship (a long-time favorite band of mine) and the retrowave/cyberpunk sci-fi genre, I really had a lot of fun working on this one. I wanted something that mirrored the neon-lit moodiness of the cityscape of Blade Runner and the songwriting of Gunship. The cannabis leaf accord was central to the overall theme of this perfume, but I felt I had to abstract it a little. I had made a handful of accords and purchased several natural extracts that smelled like the dried buds, but they didn’t sit right with what I wanted. I wanted brightness with the underlying depth, like synth and deep humming bass. The accord I made is the green earthiness of the living plant. I backed it with plum to give it the deep undertone I wanted, while the vetiver and cetalox help give it strength and fullness.
