Guan Yu was a general of the Eastern Han dynasty who died in 220 CE and was deified in Chinese popular religion over the following centuries. He is worshipped as the god of war, righteousness, brotherhood, and business -- his red-faced image appears in Taoist temples, police stations, and family businesses across China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and diaspora communities worldwide. He is depicted with a long beard, in green or red armour, carrying the Green Dragon Crescent Blade. About this deck
