Designing a ring destined to hold not one, but two, large diamonds can give even the most seasoned artist pause. Janet had inherited a ring complete with two 1.70ct+ diamonds from her mother and was never enamoured with the large, bulky and dated original setting. She wanted something that was simple, but not plain - easy to wear, but a showstopper all the same.
Together we designed a serpentine-inspired setting, with each stone set in a four-claw setting, seemingly ready to twist into one another. The stones are held in place by a graduated, scalloped yellow gold band.
