Kite Cut faceted Australian Opal Doublet 79 carats

This is the opal that I featured in a recent faceting video (See video below).

The final stone weight is 79.05 carats

Dimensions: 49.9mm x 31.8mm x 10.1mm thick.

This is a solid natural Australian opal with a stabilized backing made of a two part epoxy.

The faceting on this stone is, to my eye, what makes it beautiful. Please do not purchase hoping to get more color play than what is seen in the pictures and video as it is not a lively stone.
