Calacas carrying a Heart Mexican Milagro, or Tin Heart Ornaments, Handmade in Oaxaca, Mexico
Add these wonderful calacas to your Mexican decor: a central heart being carried by two skeletons with wings, the perfect decor for a year-round Día de Muertos spirit!
Artisans in Oaxaca create these Mexican tin hearts, also called milagritos or ex votos, which are a typical Oaxacan ornament used for decoration. Tin work, known in Mexico as hojalata, is made by cutting, shaping, and embossing the pieces. Finally, a bright lacquer paint is applied to the tin to have the beautiful final pieces!
Hand-made of aluminum.
Embossed, painted, and laquered.
Perfect ornament for your house or the perfect gift for a loved one.
Available in two different designs: Nopal and Multicolor
Measurements:4¼" tall x 10" wide
Pair them with different-sized Milagros and hearts to cover an entire wall like the ones found across Mexico, available here!
At Lolo - Mercadito we are committed to acknowledging the nature of each product. With each purchase, you are getting a unique and authentic piece that was handmade with love by artisans from Mexico. For their artisanal nature, there might be some flaws and variations in color, measurements, and design.
