"Motherland" by Okhtyrka -- a triptych from the Okhtyrka Urban series on deckarts. Okhtyrka is a city in the Sumy Oblast of Ukraine that became known internationally after suffering significant bombardment in the early weeks of the 2022 Russian invasion. The Okhtyrka Urban series takes that city's name and its urban visual landscape as the starting point for work that is simultaneously documentary and artistic. "Motherland" carries the full weight of that context across a 70 × 85 cm piece of wall art. Rendered in gallery-quality UV print on Grade-A Canadian maple. About this triptych
