Oregano Herbal Salve

Oregano is one of my favorite herbs to cook with, but did you know it had so many medicinal properties? This salve is my go-to for anything that looks like it is infected, on its way to infection, or any type of fungal issue.  This salve provides a moisturizing barrier, while the oregano, eucalyptus, and tea tree help speed up healing, fight infections, and soothe discomfort.  It aides in helping relieve muscle pain, minor burns, and even skin rashes.

Let's break down the ingredients in our Oregano herbal salve...

Oregano is a natural antibacterial and antifungal, making it effective for skin infections, cuts, or rashes.  Its anti-inflammatory properties can soothe irritated skin.

Eucalyptus essential oil has the ability to cool and soothe when applied topically, which can help relieve sore muscles, minor aches, or strains.  It is also an antiseptic, meaning it has antimicrobial properties that help cleanse wounds and prevent infection.

Tea Tree essential oil also shares the same properties as oregano and eucalyptus.  Tea tree oil is renowned for its ability to fight bacteria, viruses, and fungi making it great for acne, skin infections, and athlete's foot.
