I learned about Arnica a while back when I had a few older gentlemen come into the store looking for something for their hands.  They were hard working farmers and their joints ached all of the time.  They had tried everything over the counter with little results.  I already knew a little about Arnica from my Chiropractor, and how it had wonderful results for pain.

Arnica may aid in relieving pain and inflammation from muscle aches, sprains, bruises, joint pain, and even insect bites.  Arnica's chemical components may be responsible for its medical benefits, including its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-microbial properties.

Along with Arnica, I formulated a powerhouse of other herbs in this salve to include Tumeric, St. John's Wort, Cayenne, Calendula, and Comfrey.  I used Peppermint essential oil for a cooling effect.
