The Scent: Our most emblematic fragrance, Demeter's Dirt was made to smell exactly like the dirt from the fields around the Pennsylvania family farm belonging to our founding perfumer. We think of this as April 10th when the plowing begins in the Northeast U.S. - the beautiful scent of turned earth with a touch of last season's corn stalks.

Our candles use the same top-shelf fragrance oils as is used in our colognes and all other products, so you can be assured of a great and consistent fragrance experience.

Directions and Caution Statement: For safe usage trim wick to 1⁄4” prior to each lighting. Place on a safe non-flammable surface. Container will get hot. Keep away from drafts and walls. DO NOT Burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Discontinue use when 1⁄2” of wax remains. CAUTION: DO NOT leave unattended. Burn within sight and keep away from flammable items. Make sure to leave candle out of reach of children and pets.
