The Bevy Shad is a true sleeper in the Lucky Craft line-up. Why? It's marketed as a Jerkbait that reaches depths of 8-10 foot on 10lb line, but what you might not know, is that the Bevy Shad also doubles as a dynamite CRANKBAIT! So, it's like having two baits in one. You can fish it like a jerkbait OR a crankbait. And there are very few lures out there that have it's perfect shad profile. PRO TIP! I like to add a feather treble hook on the back hook (one size smaller than the front hook) which creates a profile that the bass haven't seen. The tight shad like wiggle and perfect shad profile with action of the feather treble on the pause, creates flow and movement that triggers strikes. This lure is designed to suspend perfectly with the nose down, and dive between 8-10 feet. The design of the bill allows it to dive quickly to its maximum depth, which is especially good on steep shorelines and drop-offs. Another unique feature is that The BEVYSHAD 75 SP has fish attracting internal glass rattles that will call the big ones out from hiding. The glass rattles create a unique sound unlike other baits out there. Finally, this bait comes in golden shiner which is one of my favorite Lucky Craft colors of all time and is not available in many other LC baits. Tight Lines!
