If you love the action of an OG Wiggle Wart, the River Rat is for you. Think of it as the smaller cousin to the original Storm Wiggle Wart--a finesse size hunting crank that is a bite getter! Built on the frame of an out-of-production vintage crankbait, this is one to add to your arsenal. With a subtle single ticker, wide action and a really good thump, you can stay in touch with this bait as it moves through cover. The bill angle and build allows this bait to move surprisingly well through rock and wood. Diving depth is 6-8 foot depending on your line size. I smashed both Largies on Lake Ontario, the Saint Lawrence River and Lake Champlain in upstate New York this past Spring with the River Rat in our craw patterns. This bait is going to be a killer on Southern fisheries too especially in the Blueback Herring pattern which is also a great all around shad imitator. Two finishes to pick from.
