Ducky continues the 3rd Version exploration of identity and the costumes we inhabit to bridge the gap between our true selves and our public personas. In this intimate study, a young bird is depicted wearing an oversized, cartoonish duck mask, complete with a wide, static grin. This juxtaposition between the realistic, textured feathers of the bird and the flat, simplified features of the mask highlights a central theme: the playful yet poignant attempts we make to fit into a specific "mold" or category. The bright mint background isolates the figure, turning a small moment into a profound reflection on the innocence found in trying on different versions of ourselves.
