From the maker
The sword is up, but it is not raised. There is a difference, and he is counting on you not knowing it.
Captain Aldis Renn holds the blade vertical against his body the way officers do on parade — and the way duellists do a half-second before they do not. He has made a career out of that ambiguity. He speaks first, always, and is genuinely disappointed when it does not work.
A Sculpt With a Strong Vertical Line: Arbiter Miniatures built this one on a single upright axis — blade, body and falling cloak all running the same direction. He is the easiest model in this range to photograph and the easiest to rank up beside others, and the buttoned coat and gorget give you crisp, flat armour panels that reward edge highlighting.
