Two arrows are still in his shield. He has not had time to pull them out.

Torvald Ninefeathers took his name from a volley he walked out of, and he has been collecting the rest of the set ever since. He fights the way dwarves have always fought when the line matters more than the glory — down behind the rim, hammer grounded, boots wedged into rock, waiting for the archers to run dry. He is not charging anywhere. He is the reason the people behind him get to.

A Sculpt That Tells You Where the Fight Went: Arbiter Miniatures built the story into the base — fletching still buried in the shield boards, the warhammer set head-down in the rubble, the cloak dragged sideways behind him. The braid work in the beard and the rivets along the shield rim take a wash beautifully, and the kneeling pose keeps every detail turned toward the viewer instead of hiding it behind an arm.
