A flickering candelabra limns the ink stand and paper before you. At times, the candles shine bright enough to reveal the expanse of the library with walls draped in luxurious midnight blue velvet damask. The pale moonlight is your only companion until you see your image in one of the fine paintings; perhaps a distant ancestor. Unshaken, you sit upright and reach for your pen; ready to begin your story.  Warm and cool notes flicker and dance like a candle flame in a vast, mysterious shadowy room.
