A diptych combining two Baltic folk art motifs -- the sunrise sun and nature's dance -- across two decks of Grade-A Canadian maple. Baltic folk art uses the natural world as its primary subject: the sun as the giver of life, and the movement of animals, birds, and plants through the seasons. Together on two decks, the compositions speak to each other: the cosmic (the sun) and the earthly (the dance of nature) presented as a unified field. Printed in gallery-quality UV ink on Grade-A Canadian maple. About this diptych
