I love the rain, the mist, the drizzle and although I do also love ( and need ) the sunny days, it's always the wet, quieter days which inspire me. Textures and depths appear more immediate when the weather turns wet. I also like having a dip in the sea and when I'm swimming I'm very conscious of the juxtapositions I experience; land and sea, weight and buoyancy, light and shadow, joy and fear, depth and surface.
