The Oldland Peplos is inspired by the ancient wise women and priestess of iron age Briton. With new archaeological discoveries of the Durotrigian tribes prove the iron age celts in the UK were matrilineal. DNA studies also prove that I am descended from some of these women and this peplos is my way of honouring their legacy.
