• Tarnish: Tarnish is caused by the copper in brass reacting with air and moisture. It can be removed with simple cleaning, like washing with soap or dishwashing liquid, to restore its brightness.

• Greening Effect: Copper in brass can cause skin greening due to a reaction with your natural oils, especially in warmer climates or with higher skin acidity (pH). This isn’t a sign of poor quality and fades over time. Regular cleaning reduces discoloration.
