Burning Barbershop sample, 2 mL, is a spray vial of the smoked fougere eau de parfum built on the 1891 Curling Bros. barbershop fire. It opens on spearmint, lime and hemlock spruce, cold and sharp. The heart brings lavender absolute, tuberose and Turkish rose, the shaving tonics themselves. The base sinks into burnt oil, vanilla and hay, smoke over sweetness. A charred bottle was found half full and it smelled like this. The 2 mL vial holds the full formula. From the New York fragrance house D.S. & Durga. Scent family: wood.
