This mug was hand thrown on my pottery wheel using a white stoneware clay. I carved each groove on the outer surface and It was bisque fired and glazed with a satin orchid glaze that allows the carved details to be highlighted. It was then high fired in my electric kiln.

The carved grooves on this mug with the satin finish glaze has such a wonderful feel in your hands and gives this piece a modern rustic style.

Approximate size: 3.5" across the top rim and 3.75" high, holds 14 oz. of liquid.
