Seller Terms
Last updated 2026-10-13
These Seller Terms apply to makers who sell directly on Plukio through a hosted shop, on top of our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. You agree to them when you open a hosted shop, and again each time you save your tax details. Howdoicomputer, LLC ("Plukio", "we", "us") runs Plukio.
You are the seller
When a buyer orders from your hosted shop, the sale is between you and the buyer. You are the seller: you ship, refund, and stand behind what you sell, and the buyer's payment goes to your own Stripe account.
Taxes on your sales are yours
- You are responsible for any tax on your sales, such as sales tax, VAT or GST, and for registering, charging, reporting and paying it wherever the law requires.
- Plukio does not collect, charge or pay tax on your sales, and does not register or file returns for you.
- Tell us the tax facts of what you sell (each listing's tax class) and where your parcels ship from, and keep them accurate.
Your tax details
Before a new shop opens, you give us your tax details: your legal name, your address, the country you operate from, whether you sell as a business, and any business registration or tax numbers you have. Keep them accurate, and update them in your shop's Settings when something changes. We keep every version you save. We may check an EU VAT number with the European Commission's VIES service.
Records we keep
We keep a record of each sale and of your tax details, and we give them to a tax authority when the law requires us to. We keep them for 10 years from the end of the year of your shop's last sale, including after you close your shop or delete your account.
Fees
Plukio's fees are the checkout fee and any plan price shown on your plan page. Stripe bills its own fees to your Stripe account.
Changes
When we change these terms, the date above changes too. Saving your tax details again records that you accept the version shown then.
