There's a Japanese symbol, 改善, which means "improvement". As you can tell by now, I'm passionate about learning the history and traditions of other cultures, and I truly resonated with this mindset. It is actually a Japanese borrowing of a word from classical Chinese, entering Japan in the Nara Period (years 710-794) through Buddhist scriptures. As a business owner, husband, and father, I am constantly trying to improve and strive for success. When developing our (now retired) k2e base, along with this fragrance, I thought this name was just perfect; thus, our kaizen was born.

Kaizen is a fusion of mandarin, tangerine, and lemon zest, with a dash of bergamot and apple for a fresh and green base. A touch of neroli adds extra charm, but don't worry, it won't overpower your senses. The middle notes are a mix of floral and citrus, while cedar and other woods bring depth. The final stage is a surprisingly spicy and woody blend, almost like a whole new scent altogether.
