This knight pendant features a carved malachite shield matrix hand-carved with a skeleton key, and engraved with the words FORTITUDE and LOYALTY around the bezel. A key is a symbol of boundaries: it allows us to enter private and secure spaces, and also to grant that access to others.

Historically, wax seals secured correspondence and verified the authority of the sender before a message was opened. This piece is a nod to that tradition, functioning as both pendant and working desk seal.
